Serious Games to Help People with Depression
The company has been awarded funding to develop a serious game to help people with depression. The game itself is intended as a 'fun' way of knowing how to cope with depression. The game itself is being created in collaboration with a leading mental health charity. The game's development will be very much human-centred where consultation with those working with those suffering with depression will be sought. People with depression will also be consulted on the development of the game.

ReplyDeleteWithin the Serious Game on depression there is a scenario about work place bullying this can also take place in schools and generally life experiences. However, having talked to people within mental health area bullying not only damages the individual through low esteem but also effects the person that is bullying as their self esteem is too high leaving them to not think through things clearly as their minds become hyperactive. Please give me your feedback in this area as it seems to be a prevalent problem.
